This was one of the few trees at Crescent Rocks that had already lost all of its leaves, and it looked incredible (and a little eerie) against the dark blue sky at sunset.

I took an absurd number of photos during our climb of The Nose at Looking Glass Rock, and this was one of my favorites. The unidentifiable figure rappelling down the rock face would be my brother, Jonathan.
An image from my March 2006 snowboard trip to Austria. I’d almost forgotten I had a folder full of images from that trip, and this was probably my favorite of the bunch. Not bad for a Canon Powershot camera from 2002! I still have this camera, too.
Been a few months since a featured photo, I know. Life got in the way.
I was in Alexandria on Tuesday to film an artist for The Artistic Type, and next to a small, beautiful pond with goldfish was this tree. I’m no floral expert, but the tree somewhat resembled a large bonsai tree and I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos.
Another Jumptown photo this time. Took some new promotional photos for Jumptown to use in their ventures, and this was a particularly fun photo that I couldn’t resist sharing.
Take a look at the Jumptown MySpace page and listen to some of their music, an eclectic mix of swinging blues, funk and soul.
Went to Bangkok Blues in Falls Church last night for the Jumptown performance. Did a full-fledged, 3-camera video shoot for a couple of songs, but managed to snap a few pictures at the end of the evening before the band finished up.

This classic car is a 1936 Rolls Royce 20/25 Sedanca-De-Ville limousine. I did a video shoot of this car for work a couple of months back, and was able to snap a few photos during the video shoot.
The car belongs to Jay Givens, who owns and operates Givens Collision Repair Center in Frederick, MD.
One of many photos I have taken of my car. This photo was taken in a culdesac in a neighborhood that was under construction. It required some fairly major touch-up work, including adding a new sky and removing the front license plate (which I forgot to take off before taking the photo – oops).
Crescent Rocks is a climbing crag located on the Virginia – West Virginia state line at a place called Raven Rocks. With three faces to choose from, the location offers almost 30 mapped routes, along with several variations, providing a variety of climbs from 5.4 to 5.13. On top of it all, the views are [...]
