PettyJohns Cave
The second day of my summer vacation to Atlanta the unanimous decision was made to have some mud-crawling, crack-squeezing, tunnel exploring fun at PettyJohns Cave in the northwest corner of Georgia. We picked up a couple of disposable cameras for the adventure, donned our gear, and ventured into the depths.

- Close-up of the two areas we visited, the Waterfall and the Double Echo Domes.
- Holly and me, ready to enter the cave.
- The deep, dark entrance. Doesn't look like much, does it?
- Chris and Holly at the cave entrance (these two got married in a cave, can you believe it?)
- Jonathan and I at the cave entrance.
- Me, navigating the Z-Turn.
- Squeezing through one of many tight sections.
- At the waterfall (although you can't really tell there is a waterfall).
- Another one at the waterfall (I swear, there was a waterfall).
- Chris, Jonathan and I in one of the Double Echo Domes.
- Me emerging from the cave.
- Jonathan emerging from the cave.
- Holly exiting the cave.
- Chris making his way out of the cave.
- After a muddy afternoon of caving, there wasn't much color left on anything we were wearing.
